My Story
What turned it all around for me was finding a mentor who provided direct, actionable feedback. This helped me simplify complex components, tweak processes, prioritize effectively, and, ultimately, become a more impactful teacher.
I learned how to empower struggling students and expand the horizons of high-achieving students—moving them beyond relying solely on rote memory to truly owning their learning. With these strategies, I was able to reduce the need for excessive testing while achieving better understanding and performance from my students, from nursery school through college.
